Pete, <What do you think NUMA means anyway?>

What do you think 64-way SMP means anyway?

Message 16977465

Do you know that someone (Microway) is selling a 64 way (actually 66 way) SMP Athlon ccNUMA system? They use multiple Myranet 24 port 100mb ethernet switchs. The interconnect does not need to be traces on a PCB.

I guess if someone took eight Duron systems and hooked them up to a LAN, you'd call that an 8-way SMP Duron ccNUMA system, right? LOL!
