OT: I appreciate the suggestions.

I was just using what was available and fastest for my purposes (jpg. was the second of two options for saving a chart as a picture), but next time around I'll at least go the extra step of converting a bmp to gif. For some reason, PrintScr wasn't working for capturing - plus I didn't want to do any image-editing.

I like MM's ideas about using PSP or something like it for playing with chart analysis.
