Hi Zeuspaul,

Re: Lot's of others...doesn't include California senators in the middle of an energy crisis..

Senator Ron Wyden got a good soundbite off today about the fact that the Western power futures market dropped 30% the day after Enron went TU. Expect more wonderful fireworks as we try to get to the heart of the snakepit called Enron.

The man who dropped that bombshell regarding the 30% decline in the futures market is an industry consultant base in Portland, OR by the name of Robert McCullough. He's been hired by the Senate Energy Committee to try to throw some daylight on Enron's twisted and most likely illegal entanglements with off shore tax dodgers like JP Morgan, Citibank and a lot of other pond scum.

McCullough waxed biblical on CNN's Moneyline tonight. He compared the task of Solomon, deciding the fate of one baby, with that of sorting out 4,000 or so Enron babies in the Caymans, Jersey and an unknown host of other dodgy tax evasion centers. We're in for a protracted battle, with Enron resisting at every step of the way. Lots of obstruction of justice charges ahead.
