I guess everyone has heard by now that our esteemed Attorney General John Ashcroft has ordered that two statues in the Supreme Court building must now wear the burka from head-to-toe.

The semi-nude statues representing "Spirit of Justice" and
"Majesty of Law" may no longer be seen. The coverup only put the taxpayers out $8000.

Methinks this controversy is less a question of artistic taste and more a statement of political ideology. With "Justice" and "Law" now underwraps, it'll will be easier to deal with any threats to America.
