No major current operations but see Seagate Resources CDNX which has now bought Quartz mountain formerly owned by Atlas who discovered it in the late 1980's Epithermal model in volcanics. Has a high grade core. Difficult to permit since the Oregonians outlawed cyanide. Newmont had an option on the property at one time. Geologically, southern Oregon is an extension of Nevada. Numerous companies explored the area in the mid - late 1980's.
