Goodwill Writeoffs. From using inflated stock to buy inflated stock. If the article and writer didn't uderstand that concept, or explain the net result of the process, then any conclusions drawn from within are conceptually flawed and wholly irrelevant.

For instance, JDSU alone made up $50 Billion.
