no, I noticed it when I first bought xmi puts in early january, but didn't pay it too much attention because of the uniformity of the positions. Now I saw it again today and was thinking that the call side is more than a $160,000,000 bet currently, though mostly intrinsic, much more than the put side, but who knows, the puts could have been opened later after the calls appreciated. All I'm pretty sure of is both have been there for most of January and it ain't gonna tell us a thing about market direction.

edit: imagine the bear wet dream of selling those calls short and using the premium to buy the poots and gold miners? -ggg- I gotta get off crack. -g-

That's one way to hide a trade....no one looks at the XMI! ('cept you of course) I'm surprised you can even buy options on it.
