Any idea how much productivity increased over those 200 years after 1101? the answer is near-zero. And how much compound interest loss has incurred in the last 52? And how much will accrue in the next 148? BTW, IIRC, Christian occupation of Jerusalem lasted some ninety years. That was a time when a campaign lasted years, and wars lasted hundreds of years while populations growths were barely dented despite all the atrocities on both sides. Today, Israelis has the capability to wipe out more than half of Arab population in Palestine and Transjordan in less than a day.
