Hi Tim, several excellent points on GE. Power systems numbers are going to be weaker as companies like MIR, CPN and others seriously cut back on the number of new plants and facilities they are planning to open.

We could actually see a boomrang return to not enough electricity in parts of the country in 18 months, if the economy rebounds and increased power capacity is shelved by the merchant power companies.

I'm sure that GE's failed HON purchase was partly conceived to reduce the % of revenues and bottom line earnings numbers that GE Capital contributes to GE's overall numbers.
