The reason Sun will not do too well going forward is that in bubble years, money was loose and fast, and it belogned to other people. In this new era of purse tightening and acounting accountability, people are going to want to see the highest possible ratio of business value to money spent.

The days of clueless purchasing managers wasting money on proprietary rip off merchandise are over. Or at least diminishing. Maybe.

Nope. I would think, however, that if somebody wants premium service, they should expect to pay for it. If they're a mere peasant, maybe trying to get money out of them would be akin to blood from a turnip.
