So all that wind Dell, Compaq and HP have been dishing out over the years about their PC's being better than e-machines is so much cr*p? Glad to hear it. That Korean guy I sold my shares to may be onto something.

JMHO.

I don't expect much consolidation on the server front except from a reduction of duplication as old lines become obsolete. Old lines become obsolete anyway so no difficulties for the customer here.

Do you expect the sales forces on the server front to be consolidated? Do you expect them to stop competing overnight on the day the merger is finalized? To smoothly begin emphasizing one line over the other? Or just to be able to easily explain how the two formerly competitive lines are today magically complemetary, appealing to two different types of customer? Or will the server lines become obsolete in 24 hours to be replaced with a new consolidated line that poses no problem?

Or do servers not matter anyway?

Like George Bush, you're not confused, you're just confusing.
