The dollar is very strong vs currenty basket of course... but mostly because it is heavily weighted to Yen as you know... which has essentially become what gold bugs have predicted for all fiat currencies [eventually]... wall paper. Sadly [for us Americans] this just means the coninuation of the hollowing out of American business untill the obvious and eventual happens... a more competitive exchange rate situation... ie. dollar collapse. Maurice essentially has that whole part right, but he likes to think too far ahead and into too many scenarios [a beautiful mind, yes] when simplicity and beauty are right there in the golden sunlight.
