Reports Q4 (Dec) loss of $0.11 per share, $0.02 better than the Multex consensus of ($0.13); reports Q4 revenue of $63.3 mln versus the consensus estimate of $61.8 mln; company warns for Q1; expects net loss in the range of $0.11-$0.13 per share versus the current consensus estimate for a net loss of $0.10 per share; sees Q1 revenues in the range of $55-$60 mln versus the current consensus estimate of $61.8 mln.

Reports a Q4 pro forma profit of $0.06 a share, $0.08 better than consensus, vs a yr-ago loss of $0.06. Rev rose 5% sequentially to $43.2 mln, compared to $42.13 mln consensus. For Q1, co sees pro forma EPS of -$0.02 to $0.00 on rev of $36-$40 mln (consensus estimates -$0.02 and $40.56 mln). For 2002, co sees EPS of $0.03-$0.06 on rev of $155-$165 mln (consensus -$0.01 and $172.9 mln).

16:16 ET COLM Columbia Sportswr beats big, but offers cautious guidance (30.78 -0.46)
Reports Q4 (Dec) earnings of $0.61, $0.13 better than the Multex consensus of $0.48; revenues rose 32.4% year/year to $214.3 mln vs the consensus of $209.3 mln. Company sees Q1 revenues roughly flat with year-ago, or about $138 mln vs consensus of $141 mln; expects FY02 revenues to grow low-mid single digits, which at 1-5% would imply a $787-819 mln range vs the consensus of $826 mln, and says EPS growth will be difficult to achieve.




16:16 ET CTXS Citrix Systems (17.29 -0.16)
Announces that the board has authorized the co to repurchase up to an additional $200 mln of CTXS common stock (about 11.6 mln shares at today's price, or 7% of the float). The co said it plans to buy shares on the open mkt from time to time, depending on mkt conditions.

16:12 ET SBUX Starbucks raises guidance, reports 7% same store sales growth (23.76 +1.00)
Reports that Jan same store sales increased 7%, while net Jan revs rose 24% to $229 mln. In light of these results, the co raised FY02 guidance to $0.54-$0.55 (vs consensus of $0.53), and targets revs to grow 20% with same store sales growth in the low single digits.




16:11 ET TELM Tellium beats estimates, issues mixed Q1, raises full yr (5.42 -0.30)
Reports Q4 pro forma cash earnings of $0.01 a share, $0.05 better than the Multex consensus. Rev rose 25% sequentially to $50.2 mln, exceeding $48.06 mln consensus. Co sees Q1 and FY02 revs of $52-$55 mln and approx. $288 mln ($55.3 mln and $273.5 mln).
