That piece comes from minds of those who come to conclusions like this "I predict that it will be disclosed that the entire collapse (of Enron) was the result of a secret rogue inside operation of sleeper cabalistic Clintonistas who forged the necessary documents, set up the offshore shadow partnerships, and then THEY milked the proceeds to quietly fund the Democratic Party's insurgency ... While documenting the relationship between the Clinton administration and Enron somewhat, that article makes absolutely no case for it's title line: that Enron's fall had something to do with the Clinton administration.

Maybe they're taking for granted that many people read only the title line, and maybe the first and last sentences.

The reasons Enron failed are clear. And they have nothing to do with the Clinton administration, unless you want to hang the lax regulation of derivatives trading and corporate reporting on him.

But I forgot, everything is Clinton's fault for certain right wing ostrich types.
