"What's your point?"

I thought my opening line made that clear. My point is to accept blame for introducing biological warfare.

"I suppose I ought to admit to starting this inhuman form of warfare. I thought at the time that it was for a good cause..."

"Are we to expect that you, are some how excluded from this "total depravity' that has pervaded through all time and all men?"

Greg, I just posted how I started this many years ago:

"The master tactician Solon used the purgative herb hellebore (skunk cabbage) to poison the water supply during his siege of Krissa."

600 BC

<b<"Assyrians contaminated the water supply of their enemies by poisoning their wells with Rye Ergot. The master tactician Solon used the purgative herb hellebore (skunk cabbage) to poison the water supply during his siege of Krissa."

"Are all your motives pure and free from the stain of original sin?"

My motives may be stained, but not from that. The only entity that is logically capable of "original" sin is God.

People have evolved over millions of years: "sin" is just a word used to isolate people who put their own self interest in front of the common weal. Behaviour that disrespects the independence and liberty of others is "sinful". Not too original. If all interaction with others was done on a voluntary basis, there could be no "sin". Most purported "sins" condemn and expose some bastard with a pen or a sword...
