Dell is walking in the same tracks as the NAS. Nothing Michael or a lonely analyst does or says seems able to move the stock. I concede defeat at the hands of the mighty churners who channel every stock that has split more than 6 or 7 times. Includes Ibm (29 times) csco, msft, emc, orcl, wmt, and a slew of others.
The last 2 weeks of action convinced me - I thought they would have to move the channel up and I was wrong. There is too much money to be made continuing as they did in the past.
IMO there are several layers of market movers.
1.The banks, who are guaranteed to win in the end
2. A few very shrewd and large money managers who are causing our problems.
(And as I mentioned, am growing suspicious that some companies cooperate)
3. Funds and institutions who as a whole are very poorly informed and at the mercy of ( 2 ) above or brokers
with selling tactics
4. Individuals
Dell will have to do something outstanding to break away.
(unless I are wrong once again)
What say you? 27or 28 in the lower channel?
