Well, his wife apparently claimed (on that video she did with Lisa Myers the other day - I did not see it) that all they have 'left' is their home. They have several homes in Aspen for sale (just the fact that one family 'needs' several homes in Aspen tells me something). I'm pretty dubious that he is bankrupt, the financial press says he took 200 million out of Enron over the past three years. Hard for me to see how even a 'free spender' could blow through that kind of number so quickly... Possibly some numbered accounts in the Comoros Islands?? One comforting thought is that lots of any money they might have left will be spent on those $500/hour lawyers for some time, I'd bet... Besides, I don't think all those high priced lawyers would take Ken on if they didn't think he could make them 'whole' at some point...

Regards,
John

I saw that Ken Lay is bankrupt. Any truth to this?

I haven't seen him on the corner with a "Will Trade Energy for Food" sign yet.
