The hero here, and I know this sounds trite, is the internet and especially sites like SI, which unlike other sites, are by and large composed of Opinion Leaders who are after a solution and not a rant.

And be careful blindly following the accusations of Barbara and Diane.

Their agenda is to create as much smoke as possible to get out of the 13 BILLION DOLLARS that the State of California piss!d away on energy futures to ensure that Grey, Barbara and Diane don't get blamed for the energy problems in California.

It is to be remembered that California GAVE AWAY their power plants instead of selling them. The 10 Billion Dollars that was received went to the shareholders of Southern Cal Edison and Pacific Gas and Electric under their watch.

Also, the "smoking gun memo" that Barbara (Boxer) found is actually good advice, which says basically, stay out of it, let the market handle it. Which Bush did.

So it REALLY muddies your argument that Bush was in the spell of Enron, if you follow it through to its logical conclusion.

You have plenty at the Federal level. Don't take your eyes of the ball with ankle biting.

FOLLOW THE MONEY, as "Deep Throat" said.
