John, we've spoken before re: contrary anal-yst plays. Sometimes, not always, certain analysts appear to use UP-grades to get their clients OUT as the little guy gets in and DOWN-grades to get clients IN after the little guy gets panicked out.

Like I say, not always. Personally I have seen this happen most often when a stock has really run up and then they issue a strong buy or upgrade.

BTW - Prudential gets the jerk award of the day. Heard on CNBC earlier they DOWNGRADED a stock at $26 a couple months ago and then upgraded it today at $56!!!
