One of the most important roles of a leader is to lead through the ability to communicate and inspire. I suppose it would be inspiring for her to be Governor while battling Parkinson's, but her ability to communicate would likely deteriorate. Setting aside her politics for a minute, as a voter I would be torn about whether to vote for someone in that situation.

My Grandfather also had Parkinson's. Your right it is a very difficult thing to watch. The saddest part is the loss of physical function while the brain is still sharp. After watching another Grandma die from Alzheimer's I think being mentally fit and losing the physical side might actually be worse. Neither is pleasant for them or the family.
