Well, as I have to run some errands, I will have to answer more thoroughly later. All I can say is that there is oversight, there is just not publicity. What you can read in the Washington Post or the LA Times, Ivan or Deng or Achmed or whomever they send to get intelligence can read too. To deny the need for intelligence services, when intelligence is crucial to making appropriate choices in a number of policy areas, and is our only hope, as well, of foiling outrages like the attack on the World Trade Center, or the theft of missile designs, seems to me to be a little over- the- top. But, as I say, I have to do some things, back later.....
