This is a great thread and unlike so many, it's unmoderated and the coffee's very good, though I suspect on this thread it's instant or freeze-dried.

That article makes absolutely no case for it's title line: that Enron's fall had something to do with the Clinton administration.

Maybe they're taking for granted that many people read only the title line, and maybe the first and last sentences.

The reasons Enron failed are clear. And they have nothing to do with the Clinton administration, unless you want to hang the lax regulation of derivatives trading and corporate reporting on him.

But I forgot, everything is Clinton's fault for certain right wing ostrich types.
