multi-year bull run in all natural resources:

gold (due to currency instability)
oil (due to production shortage, supply uncertainty)
platinum (catalytics, fuelcells)
copper (industrial meter for inflation)
timber (for housing)

the wild card in my view is oil
it is the lifeblood of our economy
US imports 65% of what it uses
and over half that comes from Arab world
the cost of all other resources rises with high oil cost
(think extraction and delivery)

Go New England Patriots
take points, go with dog
good weekend to all, Jim

If you think Qcom was a tough sell in the 90's Gold is the most hated asset I know off. Preaching reality to those who have lost touch with it is an impossible feat. As long as all Americans feel its OK to have 120% mortgages and $40,000 cars on lease with no more then 1-2 months savings, there will be no understanding of the Gold argument. Those who understand that the world we live in is a credit bubble get it.
