"jihad" ? Why is that that no one calling barrett's overcapacity to kill off competition a jihad? And it has nothing to do with political correctness because it is business and it is his job. Jerry sold an idea to investors long time ago to be an alternative source to intel and it is his job to do whatever he thinks he needs to do. "hateful" is when one is aggressive to an individual not the company

Oh come on Tench. Jerry was quite willing to play second source and milk the trailing edge until Grove decided that Intel needed to take that too. The jihad (as you name it) started when Intel tried to cut that part of AMD's business off...
