A selfish irresponsible act of sex by the mother (& father) *********************************************************** Big of you to include the father as a parenthetical afterthought. It would really be interesting, if it was possible, to take a survey & discover how many anti-abortion men have fathered children & then deserted the mother. The best situation is a child born to both a mother & father who love each other & the baby. That's what would happen in a perfect world. Life is rarely perfect, & many circumstances cause a woman to be desperate. In much the same way a man feels desperate when he becomes impotent. Society sees no harm in a man buying viagra to assist him in his life crisis. However, radical right citizens do not give any consideration to a woman who finds herself in an even greater crisis situation. Bottom line is, it is difficult to respect men who feel they have the right to dictate to women what they should do with their bodies. The Mullahs in the Mid-east have the same mind set. Besides, God trusts women to do the right thing when it comes to children. If he did not have confidence in womankind's phenomenal protection of the human race through the ages, he would have given ovaries to men instead.
