I'm 16 hours ahead of the US East Coast, it is Saturday. There is no reason why QQV/VXN should increase indefinitely. In fact I would assume it was mean-reverting. I could just keep going down to the levels seen in 1997 and 1998 as the market keeps going up.... BTW my call for Friday was a lot more accurate than Velo's but maybe he has been more consistent over time, and I was just lucky. I think his wave count long-term and short-term is all wrong though. cres.anu.edu.au
