Your frustrations, pains and enormous jubilation are all attributed to being a NOVICE TRADER. Don't take offense to that title, every trader must break his or her cherry at some time. Its my firm belief you become a better TRADER as you learn to deal w/ the emotions of your actions.

In the early days, if I lost 30-50K on a trade or within a time frame I would be sick and it would annoy the hell oit of me, now I look at losses as PART OF THE GAME!!

You have to have losses,a nd the best traders in the world w/ tell you its all in how you deal w/ those losses.

I have lost over 200K on a serious losing streak where every trade wnet against me, then I had a one of perhaps my best 2 months ever wher I tripled that loss number w/ gains.

I have learned to control my emotions better then ever, and it makes me that much stronger as a RESILIENT trader.

A hedge fund manager once told me you cannot become a good trader w/ out expexriencing the emotional break down from your intial loses. This experience will make you that much better going forward, and I am living proof of that.

I am a prodominately a SHORT TRADER, and w/ shorting comes PAIN. But by learning to control that pain and take it all in stride you realize w/ no pain thier is no gain as a short trader.

I have been trading since about 1987, having made much of my money loading up on HD after the 87 crash, shorting INTERNUTS after the 98 run up(which was very painful in the beginning) and loading up on my favorite BTK's in the summer of 99 before they went crazy in winter of 99/00.

Now I use all my experiences to help me trade. This makes me that much better and w/out those experiences both up and down I could not call myself a TRADER!

Good luck my friend!
