Our bedroom window has been open every day since we built this house more than 20 years ago. In very cold weather it's closed down a bit, but that's all. Even when the power goes out and we have to rely on the wood stove for heat, the window stay open.

A bit of ice on the inside window sill just makes for a more interesting morning, is all!!
