I thought about subscribing just to see what the master says.

You can always cancel after a month, but I think it would be like a drug :) Each year they do a free week and you can take a look then. They should put some of the old ones from say a year ago on the site. Or maybe that would be embarassing? :)

I heard Prechters been bearish on the USD

I'm bearish on the USD on fundamentals, but currencies can take a long time to move. In the meantime the focus is on trashing the Yen. Then when that is over maybe the Euro can rise a little and the AUD/CD/SD a lot. I think the trigger will be when the US starts raising interest rates. This will follow on to crash the stock-market. That's when my wave C happens. So in the meantime we go up in wave B. There is a fudnamental theory behind the TA you know. I'm not a dumb bull!

By popular request here is the original thread header for "Hyperclown Zone":

Date: Aug 10, 2001 9:53 AM
This thread is for everyone who thinks being a clown isn't good enough. That's old hat, passe, over dude. Now you need to be a hyperclown. Short puts, long calls and on margin or futures or whatever.... Only stocks with betas of 2 or more. You get the picture.

All news is good news. If unemployment is up then interest rates will be cut. If it's down then the economy is doing well and earnings will be up. If GDP is up earnings will be up if it's down rates will be cut....

All charts are bullish. If the stock, index, or commodity is going up then it has strong momentum and a high RSI so you should buy it. Don't get left behind. If it is going down then it is oversold and you should buy it too.

Fundamentals are bullish too. A high P/E shows that the company has fantastic growth opportunities, a low P/E that it is cheap. You want to buy both of those too.
