Let's keep in mind the primary element with illicit drug distribution: Profit! What was is about my post that led you to believe that I wasn't aware of this? Drug smuggling is a business. A highly profitable one. But my post was about "DEMAND REDUCTION". The concept of playing on people's patriotism as a means of altering their behavior. Present the argument correctly, and I think you'll be surprised at how many people will choose to reduce their consumption of drugs. Which, in turn, will reduce the profitability of the business. Ecnomic self-determination and a promise of a future is a wonderful prescription, don't you think? I don't see that in Latin America. Do you? And you won't see it until their leadership, economic and political, take the necessary steps to grow their own economies, and quit shuffling money into secret US and Swiss bank accounts. Hawk
