Patriots are on a roll. Beat a very good Steeler team. Pats will need to get a few breaks to win: long punt or kickoff returns, turnovers, log penalties, get the lead early and make Rams play catchup.

Stl defense has been improving all year. They have some very hard hitters, a lot of speed and a very good defensive coach in Lovie Smith. Don't throw the ball near Aeneas. Defense is healthy for the playoffs. During the season they often missed key starters: Williams, Archueletta, Herring, Little etc.

Containing Faulk will be tough... Rams Achilles heal is special teams, turnovers and occasionally penalties. Billichek is excellent. He will exploit any mistakes the Rams make.

I agree on the Pats -

I've gone from fear as I said in my posts before Pittsburgh to wonderment. Bill and Romeo really are great coaches.

14 1/2, if that's what it is still, is wrong IMO - that's two TDs and an FG. With these defenses? I'd take the Pats and the points.

I can't wait for this game. Haven't felt like this since Super Bowl III.
