<<Many of them are about to step beyond equality>>

LMAO! Here's some news for you, haquiana (why did you ditch your SI name, anyway?)

'Today's women' stepped beyond equality -- and in your specific case, surpassed your stupid ass -- 30 years ago.

And there ain't no 'wistful' looking back, "Hack."

<<We can work with women in cooperation,
but not under their control. >>

ROFLMAO!

Who is 'we,' haquiana?

'Work with?' If you're capable of articulating this 'thought' of yours, I'm curious as to what you infer ...

???????????????????

enigma, while I agree that some women have what you might call a Zardozian (ever see that one?) vision of life, I'm thinking of something different. Many ladies that I know are TIRED of trying to be the "have it all, be it all" woman of the 90's. They are very torn by the natural desire to be a mother to their children and be the Career Lady that they have been told they can be. When they get real honest, they they know they are cheating their kids by letting strangers at a day care center raise their flesh and blood. All the raises in the world does not erase the emptiness of not knowing their kids.

They are bailing out of the rat race.
