I think I know why.. Some of those files you must right click and choose edit. Then it opens and you can cut and paste it.. Just remember to choose no if it asks you to save changes when you close it.. Just in case something got moved around. If that happens right click in the window and choose undo.. Then close it.. :)

OK Bill:

I just thought of an easier way.

Start
Run
type "sysedit"
enter

This will bring up a windows with 4 files.

Copy and paste the contents of "autoexec.bat"
and "config.sys" into your next SI post.

Don't worry about messing things up here. When you close the windows it will ask if you want to "save the changes" (if any) Just say no.
