So what...the public bought, paid for, and depreciated a Nuclear Power plant...and P.G. and E Corp can just... 'take it back...do doot do do...'

You are talking about something that I only have a passing understanding of. Could you amplify on your comments here?
I've been made somewhat up to speed on PG & E's bankruptcy and holding company structure via the "California Energy Crisis" thread, but I'm not sure what the asset play is.

Please advise.
