We did have an execution over here at San Quentin this week. Guy had murdered some 80-year old grandmother in her bedroom, then fixed breakfast in her kitchen. He was still eating his omelette when the cops showed up. Doh! 25 years on Death Row before this week. After 25 years, it almost begged the question: "What's the point?" That process really needs to be shortened.
