But it does appear that Release A, which includes the 307kbs performance upgrade, will no longer be held hostage to a Sync Channel resolution. This may well diminish support for a sync channel Specification "fix" - improving the probability that, as Koreans suggest, vendors and carriers sort it out themselves without involving 3GPP2 and Specification. MSM5100 ASIC required for 307kbs.
