re: leon

i've seen bobber the same way. especially
when he plays with the dead. he came here
last year and was billed with phil & friends.
i thought, "oh no, this may not be good."
but he was the opening act, he was fabulous...
unduplicatable emotional sounds came out of his
nose and his harmonica that sent me to mars. he
got on his bus and left before the deadheads began.
soon after that... i did too. kath and i went home,
fell back in love again, and had teenage sex,
circa 1969.

oh god, what he can do to the sound of a word
with his nose. like a baby being born.
