I look at gold charts everyday, and while performance has indeed been good, my memory and experience goes back to XAU 150. We still may do more basing at these levels and it may take some time before we really breakout. Actually, relative to gold bullion, the XAU is starting to get a little ahead of itself.

Argentina calls bank, forex hols for Mon, Tues-source
BUENOS AIRES, Argentina, Feb 1 (Reuters) - Argentine market authorities on Friday declared a bank and foreign exchange holiday for Monday and Tuesday, after a Supreme Court ruling against banking restrictions, a Central Bank source said.

The country's top court ruled that restrictions on cash withdrawals and a freeze on savings are unconstitutional and that banks, which have been saved from a huge run on deposits by the strict measures, must return cash on demand.

``There is going to be a banking and foreign exchange holiday on Monday and Tuesday. The reach of the holiday is being determined, as Monday is salary pay day,'' the Central Bank source said.

Since the restrictions were first imposed in early December and contributed to rioting that ousted an elected government, the local foreign exchange market and banks have been closed for some or all activity for weeks at a time.

The peso began trading freely for the first time on Jan. 11 after President Eduardo Duhalde devalued it and set an official fixed rate for exports and a floating rate for the public. The peso had been pegged to the dollar at par for a decade.
