Good grief Ish,

Re: Beats them being killed doesn't it?

Tawdry, melodramatic and fear-mongering at its most venal. Give it up. It's Stalinist over-reaching and nothing more.

Re: but it is someone other than Bush forcing it.

I am fully aware that elements of the "secret government" are orchestrating this. CIA D.O., elements of the FBI, DoD black ops. Yes, they are finding joy in the full employment opportunities.

I haven't forgotten the events of 9/11. I'm merely pointing out that about 5% of the reaction of the Federal Government
domestically has been directed at dealing directly with the perps, and about 95% has been spent on softening the public for a hoped for transformation to a police state.

As a friend said recently, "the U.S. Constitution is no threat to our present form of government".

A police state. Ish it's all about a police state. Bush wants to take over the country. He wants to be king.

Talk about complete paranoia. Straight up analysis of Bush's presidency isn't getting them where they want because of his success and popularity so they invent some anti-rightwing black ops fantasy about Bush wanting a police state? Now I know why Hillary floated the vast rightwing conspiracy line. There are actually people out there who believe such nonsense.

Unbelievable. And I thought TP had cornered the market on fantasy.

Time for bed.

Good point, Ish. Does anyone remember what happened on September 11th? I'm all for killing anyone who wants to kill me.

As for Enron, like any company, they contributed to both political parties. They messed themselves up, hurt a lot of people along the way, now the laws will be changed. What irritates me is certain people trying to blame Bush for the entire thing. What a crock!
