lorne, Women in the USA are outraged by this. And I imagine women elsewhere are outraged too. My personal opinion of why there aren't more women posting on this thread is that they may feel people who have anything to do with Islam will not treat them well. And why would any person, male or female, want to go to a place where they feel they will be hated, disrespected or just treated badly, in general? Another thing to consider is that most of the alias's on SI do not imply gender. When I started on SI, I used my first initial, and after awhile I realized that many people assumed I was a man! LOL!
