"I wouldn't dream of venturing far outside my own areas of competence."

Rocket science and orbital mechanics excepted.

CB,
Reminds me of a story I read recently. A well known Professor of Biology was giving a speech criticizing US foreign policy. During the question and answer period following the speech, a respected physicist in the audience asked the speaker why, in his opinion, Homo Sapiens had evolved in Africa, not in some other continent. Startled, the speaker replied, "But that has nothing to do with the subject of my talk." The physicist answered, "I know. But I thought it might be rather closer to your area of competence."
