I subscribe to ContraryInvestor myself and have read them for a long time before they went the subscription route. They are still getting it right! Even mention gold a couple of issues ago.

They talk over my head most of the time.<grin>

Hi vt,

I remember reading the "The Invisible Crash" by James Dines, which covered that period in time (late '60's & early '70's) from both a macro & micro analysis.

Although many things have changed since then, Dines had excellent intuition on PM's based in part on his read of PnF charting & the macro issues of the day. I think that cemented his reputation @ the time.

Well worth reading IMO.
