Charles - I think Hector has done quite well since he has been at AMD. When Jerry does retire and Hector Ruiz is soley in charge, I believe he will show what he is truly capable of.
AMD may then be a better company than most people relaize.

Tell that to the people that he led at Motorola Semiconductor..... You can find a whole lot of them..... on the unemployment line....

Actually, Hector throwing those people out, was Real Good for "us". I'm finding we got some really sharp people for our start up, from "Those Guys Across Town". Just when we needed a bunch of extra new, experienced help around here....

Ruiz showed his abilities at Motorola. He guided the once thriving Motorola semiconductor business from profitable into a loser that is now up for sale.
