I agree with your assessment of historic violence loosely based on writings of the Bible. There has been a lot of violence supposedly based in the Bible which has been totally based on mistranslation. However, we are not here to discuss the Bible.

I totally disagree about violence from the Quran that is loosely based. I believe the writings of the Quran totally justify much of the violence. In fact, I think much of it that happens is well defined in the Quran.
