I don't know what was said at the council. I do know Enron execs had the President's ear. I'd want to know what the discussions were. I've done business with people who were secretly going bankrupt, it's only after the fact that you realize that Hey, those bastards were trying to screw me. When someone is going broke, or involved in an accounting impropriety and your doing business with them, watch out. I suppose, for you, Enron is a special case and does not require any special scrutiny.

You know the enron thing vs White house is to try to get votes for dems in Nov. They can't get votes from anything else they have on the table. they are losing the woman vote ... they are losing minorties. Bush has been very effective in getting voters to come over to his side.
