Shoot out at the ENE corral.

IMO this report is just the opening shot in what will become a firestorm of ENE executives and board members firing at each other. Remember the early Fall press statement by the board that they had approved "everything"? It disappeared from the web site, but you can bet there are hard copies and more in the hands of executives, lawyers, and AA accountants. When the gun smoke clears, we can only hope everyone connected with this fraud has gone down, including all the board members who cheerfully collected obscene fees for remaining willfully 'ignorant' even as they ratified every company misdeed.

Don't you find it the least itsy bitsy weenie teenie strange that this is a report supposedly written by the Board of Enron blaming no on other than the Officers of Enron, AND NOT EVEN MENTIONING CLIFF BAXTER?

And as to the accountants, saying they "signed off" on every thing, which acknowleges the accountants main defense and basically does not blame them at all, at least from that article.

To me this is real scary. Wheels within wheels.

hMMMMMMMMM.

:)
