Dean Fagerstrom To: The wise of heart What is clearly meant by those who are the wise and understand is neither a matter of agreement nor an attitude of belonging to the "elect".What the angel said has to do with a far more profound source of instruction, and one that emanates solely from the abode of God, the awakened soul. Agreement is an intellectual fellowship but only love instructs the soul-- thus a simplicity of expression which is foremostly communion of heart to heart. The egoistic definition of the 'wise' means those who have a few degrees and have learned how to be witty in the right circles. The spiritually-mature person does not invest in this societal game. " Say it so simply only the wise will understand" means to learn how to commune -- not to be a sagacious quibbler. The wise of heart will understand because there is only one supreme truth of existence, and this is love. Anglion on earth.
