I was referring to Toronto. Tridel, one of the biggest developers are offering that price.
The price for a 2 bedroom apt is running over 1000$, with that money(using that money as a mtg) you could get quite a nice Condo if you are willing to commute.
The caveat is, most apts include hydro and taxes in their price, while a condo will cost you that much extra.
I also believe there is not much room for thhe apt. reits to move up and the dividend of a little over 7% doesn't cover you on the downside.
Which reits are you buying these days?
I bought the A&W ,Lexington,APF(O&G),and the Versacold this past month.
