There are plenty of lipoly batteries about. I bought an ericsson mobile phone with a li poly battery a year ago. It ain't made by VLNC tho.

While we see "lithium polymer" batteries popping up in all kinds of devices now, I think most or all of them are the 'pseudo-polymer' type, like the Danionics unit for example, where the electrolyte isn't resident in a polymer sheet like on the Valence design. I don't think anybody is mass producing the Telcordia/Valence idea yet, unless they're cranking them out in volume in NI by now.
