" unfavourable for international co-operation in population control." ?

Hmmmm.....I didn't know North America HAD a population control problem <g>

Why the UN is involved in population control anywhere is beyond me,except for " maybe " family educational ( read--planning ) support. What is strange is the male population's lack of support here through vasectomies! It appears the women take the brunt of the blame.

This lobby appears to have worked :

catholicexchange.com

Along with these testimonies :

pop.org

nd.edu

forerunner.com

cwfa.org

Population ticker -- LIVE QUOTES!! heh heh heh

cpirc.org.cn

And The Latest new law in china :

arabia.com

Interesting, and yet touchy, topic.

But I don't think the UN has any place here and I commend Dubya for taking this position. It comes up for review yearly. But I also don't think the Church should be lobbying the State...so that's bit of a conundrum, eh?

All the best........
